The greatest benefit to having your child attend Shepherd Christian is that we daily have the opportunity to openly study, memorize and seek to apply God's word to all that we do.
During our all-school chapel time on Friday mornings, we praise God through songs and learn God's word.
For the 2024-2025 school year, we have adopted Ephesians 2:10: For we are his (God's) workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
At opening chapel on August 23rd, we dissected this verse, emphasizing how special and planned by God your child is. Since then and throughout the rest of the year, we will continue to learn more about how to discover and walk in these good works, including through the study of various Proverbs.
I'm also excited to say that your students will have the opportunity to not just participate weekly, but to lead our wonderful chapel time together. Praise God for His Word and for this privilege!
