Open House Events
Prospective students and families are invited to attend one of our Open House events to tour our campus and hear more about our opportunities for K-8 students. Registration is appreciated but walk-ins are also welcome. Simply click on a date on our homepage to RSVP.​​​​

Admission Timeline
Priority Admission for 2024-25:
For new families to be considered for priority admission, applications, all supporting documentation, testing, and interviews must be completed by February 23, 2024. A decision will be communicated by March 4, 2024. Please allow adequate time before the priority deadline for interviews to be scheduled. The first round of financial aid awards will be distributed to those families who have completed the full application process by our early admission deadline of February 23, 2024.
Rolling Admission Enrollment for 2024-25:
After the priority admission deadline, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and there is no guarantee of financial aid. Applicants will be added to the waiting pool if classes are full.

Process
(Remember to review our preliminary Admission Requirements before following the process outlined below.)
Apply: fill out the online application form through FACTS and be ready to provide supplemental documents:

Student records (such as student’s most recent report card) and a copy of educational/diagnostic or psychological evaluation results, if applicable.

Submit the $110 non-refundable application fee

Review: the school will confirm receipt of your information and review your application.

Interview: If the applicant moves forward in the admission process, a family interview and student assessment will be scheduled. Both parents/legal guardians and the student are required at the meeting.

Decision: Families will be informed of acceptance or denial of admission after SCS reviews all information.

Contract: upon acceptance, an enrollment packet will be issued which includes:

a request for a birth certificate, a Virginia School Entrance Health Form, court/custody documents if applicable,
-
choosing either a monthly or one-time tuition payment plan, and
-
an enrollment deposit equal to 10% annual tuition/child (this will be applied to the tuition balance and holds the student’s spot).

Kindergarten – must be 5 years old by September 30*
