Tuition and Fees

We are now accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year! The Priority Admission deadline is February 23rd. Tuition rates for the 2024-25 school year are posted below. 
 

Cost

The cost of tuition for the 2024-25 school year is intended to be all-inclusive, with no extra curriculum, material or supply fees charged.  The breakdown is as follows:

  • Kindergarten:  $8,900

  • Grades 1-5:        $9,400

  • Grades 6-8:       $9,900

Payments

Tuition payments are made on a 10-month schedule beginning in July. However, at the time of acceptance, a non-refundable enrollment deposit of 10% of the cost of tuition/child will be required to hold your child’s spot. (This deposit will be applied to the overall tuition balance.) A $110 non-refundable fee is required when submitting an application online for a new student.

Affordability

We don’t want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to give their children the best education available to them.  To that end, we offer various discounts and financial aid:

  • Teachers: Full-time teachers may receive 30% off the cost of student tuition.

  • Pastor Discount: Full-time pastors may receive 25% off the cost of student tuition.

  • Active U.S. Military and full-time First Responders (Fire, Police, Rescue) receive 10% off of student tuition.

  • Multi-Child Families. There is a 10% multi-child discount. The first student pays full price and subsequent enrolled siblings receive 10% off of tuition.​

Early Full Payment. Families receive 5% off tuition *on top of these other discounts if the full tuition payment is received by July 5.

Financial Aid Process

Interested families may apply for financial assistance through our third-party, FACTS.  Please note they will charge a $40 fee per family when submitting the request.  Proceed with the student admission application first, then apply for financial aid.  (The Financial Aid link is available on the "Apply" page.

VEISTC Program

Shepherd Christian School is now a qualified school with the Virginia Education Improvement Scholarship Tax Credits Program which offers support for low and middle income families to send their children to a school of their choice using private scholarships from scholarship foundations! Recipients must meet specific income guidelines established by the state.  Students must also meet other eligibility requirements based on Virginia residency, age, prior public school attendance and/or prior receipt of a VEISTC scholarship.  Interested applicants can email info@shepherdchristianschool.org for more information!
